What You Can ExpectWe consult with schools in a variety of ways. As most private schools don’t have an occupational therapist on staff we offer the ability to provide services based on a hourly consultative basis To address many areas that help students and staff achieve their highest level of learning .
Erin and her team are equipped to help faculty and staff with classroom observations to assist in making a classroom sensory friendly for students. This includes looking at the visual and auditory aspects of the classroom in addition to the physics set up to help students increase their focus and attention as well as increase their independent functioning. They can also make recommendations on how to provide regulation and focus strategies to a classroom involvement. The importance of consistency in behavior and teaching what we call real like professional development including help with implementation of behavior regulation concepts including How does your engine run and The zones of regulation. |
