Jenice Reyes, M.A., CCC-SLP/L
Jenice is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a background in Learning Disabilities. Jenice holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Saint Louis University and a Master’s degree in Learning Disabilities from Saint Xavier University. Jenice has experience with a variety of students with receptive/expressive language impairments, phonological disorders, language processing disorders, stuttering, social pragmatics, apraxia of speech, and traumatic brain injury. Jenice can be described as friendly, goal-oriented, and motivated to succeed and help individuals with special needs.
Debby Strauss, OTR/L
Debby is a graduate of the University of Illinois. She has worked as an occupational therapist in a variety of settings; primarily pediatrics. Debby enjoyed working at Children’s Memorial Hospital for many years and has more recently worked with children in the school setting, an outpatient clinic specializing in birth to age three, and in private practice. Debby lives and works on the Northshore. She is married and enjoys spending time with her three children.
Jessica Wheeler, OTR/L
Jessica graduated the University of Illinois in 2002 with a bachelors degree in Child Development and Family Studies, followed by a masters degree in Occupational Therapy. Over the years she has worked in a variety of settings including public schools, early childhood programs, a private school for children with autism, and therapy clinics utilizing a Sensory Integration and DIR Floortime approach. She has extensive experience working with children with a variety of developmental delays, fine and gross motor skill deficits, and sensory processing disorders. Jessica utilizes a holistic approach to therapy. She believes that the family is an integral part of the therapy process, and that collaboration between home and clinic are key to creating a successful intervention plan. Jessica lives in Chicago, and enjoys spending time exploring the city and hanging out with family and friends.
Shari Hirsh, OTR/L
Shari is a graduate of Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. She found her initial love of Occupational Therapy while volunteering and working as the Office Manager for Erin. She is excited to be back with Erin to continue to share her love of working with children and assisting in their development. She is passionate about social skill growth and helping children become confident. Shari lives in Chicago and enjoys spending time outside with her husband and pup.
Sarah Ahlm, Ma, LCSW
Sarah Ahlm and Associates, LLC
Sarah holds a degree in social work from the School of Social Work Administration at the University of Chicago. She has been working with children and families for 13 years specializing in understanding the impact of developmental differences on behavior. Sarah focuses much of her work helping children with sensory processing disorder, learning differences and ADHD to successfully function at home, school and with peers. Sarah specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification and group therapy. Sarah, her husband and children live in the suburbs of Chicago. In addition to collaborating with Erin Anderson and Associates, she has a private practice serving clients in Chicago area.
Emily is a two-time University of Illinois at Chicago grad, completing her Masters & Doctorate degrees in Occupational Therapy. Her clinical experience ranges from acute care and school based services, to individual and group based interventions within clinic settings. She has a special interest in collaborating with adolescents on the Autism spectrum. Within pediatrics, she brings experience working with children of all ages and abilities who have motor, sensory, developmental, and learning challenges. Collaborating across settings with schools and families is an essential aspect to her clinical practice. While not working, she enjoys biking along the lakefront and exploring new restaurants.
Sarah is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist who received her Master’s degree from Midwestern. Sarah began her career working with adults in the sub-acute setting; however, quickly realized her passion was working in the pediatric setting. She has experience working with infants, toddlers, and children with sensory processing disorders, ADHD, Down syndrome, fine/visual motor delays, Cerebral Palsy, and autism spectrum disorder. Sarah has worked with children in outpatient clinics, schools, and at home in both group and individual sessions. Sarah incorporates strategies from the Zones of Regulation, Handwriting Without Tears, and the DIR/Floortime model into her treatments.
